During the last few weeks I've come to realize that I can actually bend the time-space continuum.

On top of schoolwork, cram school stuff and college applications I had the time to find the volume of a banana by integrating sinusoidal functions. (Half the credit goes to goflb92 :D ). I may actually post the calculations sometime this week.

Anyways, I haven't been keeping track of many things, tell me if there was something that I shouldn't have missed!

How have you been lj people? What have you guys been doing? Did you stumble upon something that I shouldn't miss (e g dancing men in colored condom shaped cardboard suits) ?

I am taking Studio Arts this year, and therefore my journal updates will mostly consist of my doodles for class... So if you don't want to be spammed by that, tell me (I probably won't update that much anyway though)

hellomushroom is also in my class, so I assure you guys, there'll be lots and lots of tennis :P, and our first unit is "portraits", so I figured drawing her while she tried to work was the best thing to do. Hopefully, she didn't mind me scrutinizing the arc of her nose >8]

Hi all! I created an icons/graphics community this week, and it needs some pimping soo...

Go take a look at sonofapeach , I'll be posting all my icon textures and icons (and maybe some larger textures, some banners etc.) there. I know that some of you make some awesome icons, maybe the textures there can be helpful? 

Hopefully I will manage to keep it organized. :P

Do any of you guys know about "Pipi" aka The story of a zebra who pisses everywhere?

I was re-arranging my bookshelf and found a couple of wtf-worthy books that just needed to be shared. Well actually, most of those books were things like "The Joy of Pi" (which stands next to "The Art of Problem Solving" in the "why-yes-I-am-in-fact-a-nerd" corner of my bookshelf). And for having such books in my posession, hellomushroom has snarked me enough.

I also found a book about all I wanted to know about turtles and tortoises, one guidebook on how to open a restaurant - for beginners (this one is in Japanese. And I have no idea why)

But the one to get my daily WTF award was the aforementioned "Pipi", a childrens book by Francesco Pittau and Bernadette Gervais.

Here's the amazon link. If you scroll down, you'll see the rest of the series (yes, there are more). It seems to me that "Pipi" was the least awful one. How lucky I am that I read this one every night when I was 6 years old. It would have been the one with the cow who shits on every occasion
